Hot Summer Nights are coming to the Grand Strand were not just talking about the weather. As the proud winner of the
SC Governors Cup Award for Top Tourism Attraction this is one of the most popular festivals of the summer in coastal South Carolina. These not-to-be-missed free events take place from June through August and are open to the public. You havent truly experienced a beach vacation until youve come out to enjoy our Hot Summer Nights entertainment and more.
Monday's Kids Carnival in Plyler Park features kid's entertainment, giant inflatables, face painting, characters, super heroes, your favorite Princess, games, and balloon art. Every Monday from 6-9 p.m. there will be live performances on stage featuring stars of tomorrow and all-kids talent. This event is held from June 6 - August 15.
Wednesday nights live bands will perform on the Blu Energy Stage from 6-8:30 p.m. on 9th Ave N and Ocean Blvd, plus more entertainment from Boardwalk Elvis on the I Love Sugar Stage in Plyler Park from 6:30-8 p.m. The
Fireworks Summer Schedule kicks off on Saturday night, June 4, at dusk and then occurs on Wednesday nights June 8, 15, 22, 29; Monday night, July 4; again on Wednesday's July 13, 20, 27; and August 3, 10, 17. The
4th of July Fireworks Show is sponsored by
The Gay Dolphin Gift Cove and will be the largest, longest and highest level show along the beach! Bring your beach chairs and blankets, find a spot on the beach or the boardwalk, and prepare to be dazzled. There's no bad spot to watch the show! Every seat is a front row seat.
Friday nights there will be live music and concerts on the I Love Sugar Stage in Plyler Park from 7-10 p.m. with an assortment of popular bands. You may also see the strolling street performers.
