Spending Halloween in Myrtle Beach

If you’ll be spending Halloween in Myrtle Beach SC this year there’s some things to keep in mind. This is the time of year for ghosts and goblins to be out and about and as you’ll discover, they’re right here in Myrtle Beach, too! Children will be out trick-or-treating and we caution you to be careful when you’re driving around.

Happy Halloween
Children going trick-or-treating should dress in bright colors and have reflective tape added to their costumes to ensure their safety. Wearing a headlamp and/or carrying a flashlight is a good idea, too. Remember the phrase – Safety in Numbers! It’s a fact that children traveling in groups are far safer than going out alone or with just one other.

If your family is staying in any of our Myrtle Beach Seaside Resorts during this time, we encourage you to dress the kids up and take them out. There are plenty of events going on in the local area that you won’t have to go door-to-door at the homes of people you don’t know. Not far from our Myrtle Beach condos are the following places where special events are being held for the kids.

Children in Halloween costumes

Halloween Trick or Treating at Broadway at the Beach will be held Saturday, October 31 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Broadway at the Beach will host trick-or-treating around the complex in a fun and safe environment. Bring your children, dressed up in costumes, for special treats at participating stores and shops.

Happy Halloween

Trick or Treating at Barefoot Landing will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, October 31. The Ghouls and Goblins will be out this October! Dress up and come get your Halloween spirit on as princesses, witches and all your favorite characters take over Barefoot and don’t forget the Candy! Happy Trick or Treat!

Halloween on the Marshwalk
Annual Halloween on the Marshwalk will be on October 31, beginning at 5 p.m. at the Murrells Inlet Marshwalk. Join us at 5:00 p.m. for trick-or-treating and the Children’s Costume Contest.
