Celebrating Easter in Coastal Myrtle BeachEaster comes early this year, arriving on Sunday, March 27. If you're planning on celebrating Easter in coastal Myrtle Beach you can count on having a good time. This time of the year is a beautiful time to go coastal. The crowds haven't arrived yet, many of the snowbirds have flown back home, and the weather is warming up nicely. It's an awesome time to walk the beach for hours on end. You can visit the Easter Bunny at Inlet Square Mall any time from now until Easter. He will be available Monday-Saturday 11 a.m.-7 p.m. (break 3 p.m.-4 p.m.), Sunday Noon-5 p.m. (break 3 p.m.-3:30 p.m.) from now through March 26. Be sure to bring your camera and take advantage of the great photo op! The Easter Bunny will be visiting McLean Park in North Myrtle Beach on Saturday, March 26, to give candy to all the children that attend this year's event.The 32nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held from 10 a.m. until noon, as well as other games. Barefoot Landing is holding their own Bunny Hop Easter Celebration from 12 noon until 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 26. Open to the public, this event offers lots of entertainment, food and games. Plan on coming to the Hard Rock Cafe at Broadway at the Beach and enjoy Breakfast with the Easter Bunny on Saturday, Mar. 26 between the hours of 8 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Cost for breakfast is $9.95 per person. Kids 2 and under are free with a paying adult. Reservations are required by calling (843) 946-0007. The Childrens Museum of South Carolinawill host an Easter Bunny Brunch on March 26.Bring the family and enjoy a hot breakfast, a meet-and-greet with the Easter Bunny and Easter-themed games and activities. Be sure to bring abasket orbag, because after the meal there will be an egg hunt with over 1,200 eggs hidden in the museum.There are two seating times, 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.You must register and purchase tickets in advance.Tickets are $6 for members and $12 for non-members. The Surfside Beach Easter Egg Hunt/Childrens Festival will take place on Saturday March 26 starting at 1 p.m. ,The hunt will begin promptly at 1 p.m. in Passive Park followed by the childrens festival at Fuller Park from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.There will also be train rides, inflatables, face painting, balloons and more for the kids.
