Weather

The weather that you see at home are not what you will find here at the beach. Instead you will be able to enjoy a few days soaking up the sun on the beach and enjoying the pleasant weather. The high’s in December are around 63 degrees and the lows are around 45 degrees. The high’s in January are normally around 56 degrees and around 39 degrees for the lows. While North Myrtle Beach rarely gets below 25 degrees, there have been times that it has. We suggest that you bring a jacket with you and long pants so you can enjoy your time spent here.

Even though it may be too cold to swim in the ocean, you can still take advantage of the beach with the family. Let the kids in the evenings run and try to catch the little sand crabs or allow them to collect seashells to take back as a free souvenir. There are plenty of ways that your family can relax and enjoy everything that the area has to offer you.
